How to Localize Compile-Time Constants

If you have a compile-time constant that you need translated, you enter the constant into the Strings table and create string translations just as you would for any other string.

The thing you must do that’s different for compile-time constants that you need to translate is that when you enter them into an include file, you must enter a replacement value that is a call to the TranStr program. For example, if you wanted to create a constant in the main.h file that you wanted to be translated, you would enter:

TranStr(“constant”,”C”)

Where “constant” is the compile-time constant string and “C” is the Use ID for compile-time constants.
