Report Setup Options

You use the Report Setup Options dialog to customize the VPME Report Setup dialog for each report. The Report Setup dialog is a front-end for reports that gives users control over the presentation and contents of a report. See Using the Report Setup Dialog for the details on using the Report Setup dialog.

To access the Report Setup Options dialog, select a report in the Reports list on the Report Builder/Manager. Click Editor. On the Report Editor, click Options. VPM Enterprise displays the Report Setup Options dialog.

The Report Setup Options dialog lets you set up the following options:

·       Use Report Setup form: If you do not want the Report Setup dialog to appear when you run the report, uncheck the “Use Report Setup form” check box.

·       Allow user to set For condition: If you do not want users to be able to set a For condition on the Report Setup dialog, uncheck the “Allow user to set For condition” check box.

·       Allow user to set While condition: If you do not want users to be able to set a While condition on the Report Setup dialog, uncheck the “Allow user to set While condition” check box.

·       For / While Field List: You use the For / While Field List box to select the list of fields provided by the ProMatrix Condition Builder for a report. See the next section to learn how to build a report’s Condition Builder Field list.
