Selecting the Object Builder Menu for Different Menu Files

In VPME, you can build the objects run from a menu by selecting the menu options on the Object Builder menu. The Object Builder displays one menu at a time. If your application uses more than one menu, you can selectively display each menu in the Object Builder to work on each menus options.

The menu currently displayed by the Object Builder is marked by an X in the Object Builder column on the VPM Enterprise Menu Builder. Before you can build the objects run from a menu, you must make that menu the Object Builder menu.

To select a menu for the Object Builder

1.   Highlight the menu on the Menu Builder and click the Object Builder button. If the menu is already displayed on the Object Builder, the Object Builder button is disabled.

2.   After clicking the Object Builder button, VPM Enterprise displays a dialog requesting you to confirm your selection. Click Yes on this confirmation dialog and the selected menu will by denoted as the Object Builder menu by an X in the Object Builder column on the Menu Builder.

3.   Click Close on the Menu Builder dialog, and the next time you see the Object Builder window, the menu you selected will be displayed.
